Borage (Borago Officinalis)
Borage originates from southern Spain and Morocco. Regarded as a weed to many, Borage has a high mucilage content, making it a demulcent herb, soothing respiratory issues. The flowers help induce sweating, whereas the leaves are diuretic. Borage seed oil is used to help with premenstrual complaints, rheumatic problems, eczema, and other skin conditions.
We offer it as a tincture, and we also love using it in our floral pepper blend!
